Life is so unpredictable

A few months back, one of my closest friends here had to leave town in the middle of his program for an unexpected emergency. Now he cannot come back and has left me the task of closing up his affairs here- like vacating his apartment, selling off his car, etc. While I'd like to do all I can to help him out in this difficult time, I was dreading the idea of having to clean up and vacate his apartment for him. Today I went there, and found (to my surprise) that it was spic and span. He is so organized, so neat and tidy. A far cry from what my apartment looks like, what with my style being more "organised chaos". Emptying his place is going to be so much more simpler than emptying my own place! He knows exactly what papers he wants to keep, throw, where they are, and has almost no junk in the apartment. I got started on boxing things at his place, and came home and began putting some of my own things in some respectable order.

Chal.. koi to hain jo tujhe order mein aane ki inspiration de saka.. Kudos to that dude...;)

Coool, inspiration and all eh?
But jo bhi kaho.. Jo mazaa unorganised apartment mein rehne ka hai, woh organised mein kabhi nahi hai :P

Sooo many times I never get what am looking for in my organised shelf.. Keep it haywire, unorganised & am sure to lift some stuff & find it :P:P

Anyways, seriously speaking.. Glad you started with organising your stuff, considering you'd have to move out in sometime.. It'll help you :)

Take care,

As a kid, I used to feel jealous of all those people who remain organized no matter what... I tried hard to fit into that bill of being perfect and all... But then I learnt about entropy n that was the end of that nonsense...

Boy, you give me quite a shock. I never knew such things were possible! Something to think about, isn't it?

:-) yeah man.. i always prided in that poster in my room that said "it's my mess, and i love it!".

yeahh.. it's a rather unfortunate situation (his abruptly leaving and us having to take care of his affairs) but it has shaken me in more ways than one.

you are right.. i need this little shake-up. it'll help me, if i can keep it up and maintain it, that is. ;)

yeah, same here. :) i don't want to be perfect... but i think i can throw out six months old junk-mail for starters.

is baar mujhe kaafi jhatka laga. just imagine if something happened and someone had to come into your room and clean it up for you- scary thought!

yeah! equally shocked here! ;)
