TGFI always TGIFs.
"You've changed" is easy to reply with a smile and some platitude like "Change is the only thing that is constant, and it is for the best". Much harder it is, when they add, "I want the old you back".
prashanth, sometimes, the "i want the old you back" is implied in the "you've changed". and often the most well-placed expectations can get irritating.
I do believe though, that our core and what we stand for doesn't change... our appearance might! :)
Yes, sometimes that is implicit. But implicit or not, I wouldn't say it is irritating... more like something to which I would give a wan smile and say, even if without words, "Accept it". Only those who really care about you would be bothered by the fact that you've changed, and furthermore, want the old you back. If there's one thing I've learnt in my thus-far-short life, it is to not get vexed at those who care and mean well. That is a sure path to Regret.
Sorry for going overly profound / dark / philosophical like that... I get carried away sometimes :)
Change is the only thing that is constant in this world, darling..Lekin main phir bhi bol rahi hun.. You have changed.. :)*kicks herself having landed here*
As long as the change is for the better who cares ?
i am worried abt myself too! :-s
If you dont change, you would get bored... Change makes life bearable...
Better you change than be short changed by life.
Hmmm, actually, first time on your blog you have actually made a good point.I am surprised! :P
In my opinion, you shouldn't have any inclination to conform to the expectations of others. If they don't like you for who you are or what you've become, then that's their problem, not yours.
You have changed! :(
prashant dude.thoda shant ho ja. :) like i said, i knew the intentions were good, but it still bothers me.QSG,hmm.. dunno about that either re. I think i'm constantly evolving, and redefining even what my core is.S.G,Lekin main phir bhi bol rahi hun.. You have changed.. :)tu to ek nambar ki besharam ladki hai. :)m(tso),for better or worse, this is me. :)anonymous,:-) good! libran, yes, and dude, i got it the first time. ;)t.c.o,kya bola! ekdum correct.confused,ok, considering it was a 30-word post and the longest word was "influenced" (only 10 letters) i thought you would get this one. i am impressed! lage raho.klastos, true that. for a chosen few, though, i care enough to be bothered..although it doesn't mean i'd revert to what i was. only wish people would just get with the program.qsg, that's exactly what i'm talking about. please refer to post for my response. ;)
isnt life all about change?
with me the opposite is happening, i dunno this is better or that. but everyone seems to always be telling me that i m still the same way they knew me in school or college or my first job or from anytime they know me, but the more i think about it i'm convinced that i've changed a LOT. i dont know how they fail to see it.
