This got me all teary-eyed. Rekindling all those memories I thought I had successfully put away.

Yes, the sound of shutters of shops opening early morning!

Ah yes, the doodhwaala's clanging cans on his cycle..

The yelling bus conducter! "Pudhe chala pudhe chala!" :)

The honking.

The swearing in chaste marathi.

The cat fights in the ladies' compartment.

The accomodation for a "Fourth seat" on a three-seater bench. :)

"booking" seats well in advance- all accomplished by mere gestures and hand-movements.

Siiiigh. All those sounds, sights and smells...

I want to go home! now! :( :( :(

thanks dear. I agree, may be not all smells. :-)

we all have our problems. I haven't found easy answers to mine. I am still trying to find a middle path of pleasing my parents and myself. Will see what happens.
Cheers, I sure hope you're not feeling as miserable as I was. It's not worth it. :-)

Metblogs won't let t he comments up. About your last post-

The reason for the skewed results maybe that most women are unwilling to hand out their email ids - incase the survey required them to. When I am asked for my email id by somebody I don't wish to talk to, I say I don't use the internet. Blatant in your face lie, but I don't like giving out my email.
