Wrapping up somebody else's affairs

is not easy.

And I'm not talking about selling the furniture and car on behalf of someone else, or packing boxes and finding a place to store them....which is painful enough.

How do you decide what memories are worth keeping and what you should discard when space is limited?

Think about having to entrust somebody else to wrap up your life..with the plan of coming back to it later. Must be even worse!

Memories are tricky - sometimes, I think it's better to leave them behind - without any ties, almost!

Well, it is very difficult for sure... But you did mention that he was really organized... Toh bas poochte rehna... It sounds like a difficult job though :(

its not so important to remember individual events as the feeling something inspired in you, and the experiences and what you've learnt from it.

throwing out other people's junk is sure to be difficult though...

I can't decide about my own stuff, let alone for other people.
BTW thanks for stopping by. I was unable to find your blog for the last few days. Didn't know you had changed your url.

sunshine,
exactly!

qsg,
hmm..i don't know re. i guess some memories stay on, even if there's nothing left to remind us of them. and then again, who am i to decide for my friend?

s.g,
yeah. he's one of my best friends. :) but it's not like he has a choice here, anyways.
i did my best. hope he doesn't miss any of the stuff i threw! :-0

libran,
organised yes. but situations and timezones make it impossible for me to consult him now on everything. i took some liberties, made some decisions..

hi! you wanna be dictator! you do??
