Thought of the day

Everyone could use a blog.

Today, I was tired. Just physically exhausted and didn't have the stamina to put up with someone's non-stop ranting. He had all my sympathy, but really, none of my inclination to listen. At one point, I wanted to tell him.."hmm..have you considered blogging?"

It sure does - from indignation at cold weather to cricket, we can rant about everything.

But the whole point of a rant is that someone listens, no? So he first needs to get a blog, then readers, then rant :)

hmmmm doesn't quite work for me! When I have to talk, I just have to TALK ....

but why should Blogs be considered a "rant-dmoain"....cant we just come and write...does it have to be bitterness that goes out on a blog?!

Make that "Rant-domain" trying totype faster than I can!!And not succeeding (Spellings wise)..

:p i know. such shamelessness!

well, i use my blog as a one-way venting board. it works even if no one is listening at the other end.

vida loca,

i am sure. but what about the poor unsuspecting tormented listener? it would work for him, right? ;)

sure, they need not be just rant-domains. But you might find a lot more willing "real" listeners for non-bitter stories, so the blog might be a simpler avenue for the bitter outbursts. :)

But then what are friends for?!

The_Girl_From_Ipanema said...

ya ya. if you play the "what are friends for" card, there is no escape.
i was half-kidding. yes, everybody could use a friend, and in the absence of one, a blog. :p
