Short break

This blog is on a break. The blogger much less so. brb

Meanwhile audience question: If you were not a [fill current occupation here] what would you be?

If I were not a scientist, I'd be a baby-sitter or involved in early childhood education. I think little kids are most fascinating and unlimited sources of joy.

Or I might have been a union leader of some kind.

You?

Seriously, don't go. You are one of sources of wisdom and delight and self-recognition.
On the other hand.. I guess if you need a break, you sure deserve one. Have fun, relax, cuddle up and read a lot :)

Awww. Hugs. I understand and respect the decision. But if you moved to twitter, I will hound you!
I think I would be a wildlife park ranger or work at a zoo.

(Ps- A baby sitter? Really??)

u r on break,, thats cool are u gonna do bungee again!!?

i have wanted to be a lot of things, the first that i can remember was i wanted to be a lawyer as a kid, then an engineer (which i am now), a basketball referee (coz i thought i would never be good enuf to be in the team anyway, which was partly coz i wanted to be in the men's team :P), working with an ngo for kids full time, a maths proff, a football team manager, having a sports club of my own, being a tennis player, an author of puzzle books, a martial arts teacher, a traveller... and there are a few more. this was nice to put down :)

I would either be a film-critic or part of a travel channel program (not the host because I don't like talking too much or being in front of the camera).

Enjoy your break!

If I were not a techie what would I be?

Any one/combination of

Mathematician, physicist, musician, sportsperson, engine driver, historian, writer, rock star (as opposed to musician - lots of young fainting fans, groupies, recreational drugs etc., you get the idea), captain of a warship (cruiser or larger), armored division commander, forest guard.

Weird, huh?

Something to do with cricket... From commentary to coaching...

Other than that, I have always loved being a jackass... I might have just tried to do some of it professionally...

Wild Life Photographer! :D

How do you like that! Want to come with me on a trip? Lets go to Kenya and photograph some lions!! :)
*sad that none of these is going to happen atleast in the next 5 years*

And now, keep in touch, girl!

Ms Taggart said...

Oh wait.. I would be a dog trainer.. If I could specialize, I would be a labbie trainer!
Or rather a model, if I was a dumb chick!
Or a astronaut if I had the right kind of exposure.
Or a astrologer like Linda Goodman, if I paid enough attention to my calling way back in my teens!

Too many choices, girl! Now I will start sulking!!!

If I weren't going to be a scientist, I'd be a writer with a writers block. I'd sit around, languish and ponder absolutely worthless things amongst which would feature my lack of inspiration . I only wish my dad could support a lifetime of that kind of indulgence..

You have a really great blog btw, somehow I find it very identifiable.
